Aleksandra Smyrak-Sikora and Sebastian Sikora got a daughter on 24 April 

RCom (research committee) has made a suggestion for a PhD policy at UNIS, to be handled in the leader group shortly. Anne will send the suggested PhD policy to the candidates, for information.

News from the mainland universities:

 The PhD students were encouraged to arrange a social event before summer (pizza, barbeque, pub etc. ) The PhD students will send a request to UNIS to see if there are any possibilities to get some funding for this kind of events.

 The PhDs wanted to organize a “writing club”, in line with what have been done at the AGF-department earlier.

 Next PhD forum is planned in early autumn 2019.
