INTRODUCTION

Part of the work at the Department of Vegetable Crops at the Agricultural University of Norway, is testing of new varieties and introduction of new kinds of vegetables.

This publication deals with the results of same variety trials performed 1978.

We wish to express aur sincere thanks to the rnany com- panies who provided us with seed for trials. In some cases the f i.rrn narned in the tables of results may not be the primary seed producer, but a !eta.iling agent.
