Preface

These proceedings include the short papers presented at the EUROGRAPHICS 2009 confer- ence. The short papers are archived in the Eurographics Digital Library and are considered a peer reviewed publication. The EG Short Presentations are intended to present new ideas, late- breaking results and work in progress in a reduced length format. This year, authors present their work in a 15 minute talk at one of the four parallel short paper sessions.

This year, we received a total of 62 submissions out of which 24 were chosen for publication after a review process. Each paper was reviewed by at least two independent experts in the relevant areas.

We would like to thank all the authors for their valuable contribution to the program. We wish to thank the committee members for their hard work at reviewing under short deadlines: they deserve all the credit for having selected a quality program. We would also like to express our gratitude to Stefanie Behnke and the EG Support Team for their help during the submission and review process. We save our last thanks for the session chairs: Volker Blanz, Matthias Teschner, Markus Wacker, and Kai Hormann.

We hope that you will enjoy this year’s short paper program and we look forward to seeing you all in Munich.

Marcus Magnor, Pierre Alliez EG 2009 Short Papers Co-Chairs
