The Education Committee shall:

 address subjects that are handed over from the Leader Group for further consideration

 coordinate and discuss matters relating to education and educational development at UNIS

 work on the quality of UNIS education and the educational setting

 promote UNIS education

 report to the Leader group

The Education Committee shall consist of 8 members:

(1) The Vice-Dean of Education

(2-4) the Heads of the Scientific Departments or an appointed proxy (5) the Head of the Department of Academic Affairs

(6) one representative from bioCEED (7) one PhD candidate representative

(8) one student representative, either the leader or vice leader og the Student Council

The UNIS Director can attend any meeting and should receive call for meeting and minutes for all meetings in the committee.

The Head of Academic and Research Department acts as the committees’ case handler and secretary.

Leadership and meetings:

The Vice-Dean of Education is the leader of the committee.

The committee assembles upon demand from the Leader group or when called upon by any of its members.
