Como trabalho futuro sugere-se a implementação das propostas que não puderam ser postas em prática e, adicionalmente, a ampliação das propostas apresentadas para outros produtos da empresa. Depois de documentadas todas as informações sobre as portas do tipo S2-22 BT900 HT200 uma boa aposta para o trabalho futuro seria elaborar novos documentos com informações sobre todos os outros tipos de porta existentes na empresa. Outro aspeto que poderia ser melhorado seria o planeamento e controlo da produção, identificando-se uma forma deste ser feito de uma forma mais estruturada e ainda a medição e monitorização de várias medidas de desempenho ao longo da secção.
