A primeira recomendação deriva das limitações descritas acima: obter informações de trabalhadores, clientes, fornecedores, subcontratados, de preferência por outro método, traria luz para os achados incertos e robustez para aqueles que encontraram suporte na literatura.
A segunda recomendação para estudos futuros diz respeito à dinâmica própria dos distritos industriais: como competências operacionais conquistadas individualmente pelas empresas poderiam impactar a eficiência coletiva do distrito industrial?
