Hvordan tilpasse FACT-modellen til spredtbygde strøk?

Foram obtidos dados de equilíbrio líquido-líquido para SAB compostos por PEO 400 + K2CO3 + água, PEO 400 + Na2CO3 + água e PEO 400 + KSCN + água a 10, 25 e

40º C. Para os sistemas PEO 400 + sais de carbonato + água o aumento da temperatura promoveu um aumento da região bifásica, demonstrando que o processo de separação de fases para estes dois sistemas é entropicamente dirigido, sendo este, um comportamento comum na formação de SAB. Já o sistema composto por KSCN não apresentou variação da região bifásica com o aumento da temperatura. Diferentemente dos SAB compostos por polímero e sal, o sistema composto por KSCN apresentou o sal como componente majoritário do sistema e ambas as fases também enriquecidas neste componente. Até onde se sabe, este é o primeiro trabalho da literatura que verifica este comportamento em um SAB e justamente por este comportamento diferenciado, sua aplicação em estudos de partição de distintos analitos é interessante.

Com os resultados obtidos neste estudo, também pode-se concluir que foi possível atingir 100,0 % de extração de MMA utilizando SAB. Após otimização de todos os parâmetros que influenciam a extração do MMA, conclui-se que o sistema formado por PEO 400 + Na2SO4 + H2O em pH 1 foi o mais eficiente para a extração do

metal. Além disso, não houve efeito do CLA na extração de MMA, e utilizar CLAs menores é mais vantajoso do ponto de vista de aplicação, por consumir menores quantidades de polímero e sal para formação do sistema. Pode-se observar também que a concentração de MMA presente no SAB apresentou influência no comportamento de extração do metal, sendo que, para o sistema selecionado, a presença da concentração de 5 mg.Kg-1 de MMA no SAB foi a mais eficiente, levando a obtenção de uma porcentagem de extração de 63,12 % na primeira etapa e atingindo 100,0 % de extração na segunda etapa sequencial, sem fazer uso de nenhum extratante/complexante, o que normalmente não ocorre em extrações de metais em SAB. Além disso, gera-se uma expectativa da especiação deste metal de outros metais presentes em conjunto.
