Objetivando complementar o estudo dada a relevância existente do mesmo, listou- se algumas sugestões e recomendações quanto à aplicabilidade das cinzas de carvã o mineral em misturas asfáltica:

a) R ealizar de ensaios de imagem utilizando um microscópio de varredura eletrônica para se avaliar se as partículas que formam as cinzas contidas no módulo de armazenamento apresentam maior porosidade, em relaçã o as partículas que formam as cinzas volantes “frescas”;

b) Testar misturas asfálticas compostas por cinzas resultantes da mistura de vários pontos do módulo de armazenamento para se avaliar seus efeitos na mistura asfáltica;

c) Testar proporções distintas de cinza + cal em relaçã o à quelas analisadas neste estudo para se verificar se há interaçã o química entre estes materiais;

d) D osar misturas asfálticas com maiores percentuais de cinzas para se analisar o quanto o óxido de cálcio (C aO) presente nesse material pode funcionar como melhorador de adesividade;

e) D osar misturas asfálticas com uma matriz de agregados diferentes dos agregados graníticousados nesta pesquisa para se analisar a interaçã o das cinzas com outros materiais com relaçã o ao aumento da adesividade;

f) R ealizar ensaios químicos de adesividade (E x. Microscopia de F orçaA tômica - A F M) para se avaliar o quanto as cinzas podem melhorar, ou piorar, a resistê ncia ao dano por umidade de misturas asfálticas a quente;

g) R ealizar outros ensaios (além do L ottman) para verificar os efeitos da adiçã o de cinza em outros mecanismos de dano, além do dano por umidade induzida (E x. E nsaios de módulo de resiliê ncia, módulo complexo, flow number, deformaçã o permanente, dentre outros) ;

h) A valiar o potencial contaminante do uso da cinza como fíler em misturas asfálticas a partir do uso de células de percolaçã o.
