Conclusão 93

Os resultados obtidos no presente trabalho permitem concluir que os pacientes tratados por DPC realizada por meio de cateter flexível, cicladora e com grandes volumes de dialisato e por HDD apresentam mortalidade e recuperação da função renal semelhantes. Ambos os métodos promoveram adequado controle metabólico e apresentaram incidência semelhante de complicações mecânicas e infecciosas.

Portanto, DPC de grande volume e HDD podem ser utilizadas como alternativas terapêuticas dialíticas em pacientes com IRA.
