Considerando possibilidades futuras, pondera-se necessário ampliar o número de participantes em cada país, preferencialmente de forma randômica, incluindo mais países e tendo em conta diferentes aspectos para escolha desses países (nível de desenvolvimento econômico, continente pertencente).
É válido ressaltar que a presente dissertação considerou apenas duas variáveis explicadoras para a disposição para perdoar: valores humanos e crenças. Porém, sabe-se que estas não seriam as únicas responsáveis pela disposição para perdoar. Desta forma, sugeri-se em estudos futuros a verificação de outras variáveis que também poderiam influenciar nessa disposição, como variáveis demográficas, os traços de personalidade, autoestima, entre outros.
Seria relevante também, testar o modelo explicativo de disposição implícita para perdoar, considerando medidas implícitas, tanto de valores (Athayde, 2012) como de crença no mundo justo (Modesto, 2014), assim como novos indicadores para medir comportamento, a exemplo de observação de campo e estudos laborais ou mesmo contar com o relato de pares, pessoas próximas do participante. Assim, a convergência das pontuações de participantes e

168 seus pares reforça a concepção de que o perdão pode ser percebido como uma disposição ou um traço de personalidade que serve para descrever a forma como as pessoas costumam se comportar em sua vida quotidiana. Ademais, poder-se-ia pensar em um estudo de cunho prático visando levar a cabo programas de intervenção para promoção dos valores humanos a fim de promovera o perdão.
Diante do exposto, esta dissertação parece representar uma contribuição à área, com a adaptação de uma medida implícita de disposição para perdoar para cinco países, apresentando evidências preliminares de sua validade preditiva. Além de aumentar o entendimento que se tem em torno da disposição para perdoar a partir das relações que ela estabelece com os valores humanos, a crença no mundo justo e injusto.
