Com base nos resultados obtidos e considerando a necessidade de contribuições do trabalho realizado, apresentam-se como sugestões para a condução de próximos trabalhos:
Replicar a presente pesquisa com uma amostra de dados de empresas de outros países latino-americanos.
Replicar a presente pesquisa em um período de tempo superior ao utilizado neste trabalho, podendo assim compreender melhor a dinâmica das mudanças institucionais.
Pesquisar o impacto de outras variáveis do ambiente institucional sobre a comunicação de RSC, como a taxa de desemprego, indicadores de investimentos estrangeiros e o índice Gini, dentre outros.
Realizar pesquisa sobre comunicação de RSC utilizando as variáveis indústria e tamanho da empresa como variáveis de controle, ou mesmo variáveis independentes.
Realizar pesquisa sobre comunicação de RSC utilizando variáveis que representem as pressões institucionais globais que levam as organizações à padronização.
