2.3.2 D ET PSYKOLOGISKE PERSPEKTIVET PÅ STEREOTYPISERING
Podemos concluir, diante dos resultados descritos, que a quinoxalina PJOV56 mostrou elevada atividade antiproliferativa in vitro, em células de câncer cólon, mediada por senescência e autofagia, podendo ser considerada novo protótipo de molécula terapêutica com potencial anticâncer.
Um esquema resumindo a ação de PJOV56 sobre as células HCT-116 está representado na figura 39. De modo geral, o tratamento com PJOV56 gera dano ao DNA que induz a expressão de p53, bem como p21, as quais causam a parada do crescimento e senescência, que são mantidas por p16. Ao mesmo tempo p53 também induz autofagia, sendo que esta participa na sua regulação. Senescência, autofagia e parada do crescimento se estimulam mutuamente e o balanço dessa relação determina o curso da sobrevivência ou da morte celular, bem como nas características fenotípicas e moleculares observadas.
