Supplementary mandate for Module Committee 6 - Professional programme in medicine at UiO The supplementary mandate describes:

1. The composition of Module Committee 2.

2. The composition of the Examination Commission

The mandate must be read in conjunction with Overordnet mandat for modulutvalgene, profesjonsstudiet i medisin ved UiO (General mandate for module committees – Professional programme in medicine at UiO).

The Module Committee for Module 6 is composed of the following:

 One representative from Paediatrics

 One representative from Obstetrics and Gynaecology

 One representative from Pathology

 One representative from either General Practice, Pharmacology, Clinical Biochemistry, Medical Genetics, Medical Behavioural Sciences, Medical Ethics, Psychiatry or Public Health

 Two students

 The module coordinator is the secretary of the module committee

The Module Committee is appointed for a period of three years at a time.

The Examination Commission for Module 6:

 The Examination Commission is composed of two representatives from Paediatrics, two

representatives from Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and one representative from Pathology. In addition, there is one representative from either General Practice, Pharmacology, Clinical Biochemistry, Medical Ethics, Medical Genetics, Medical Behavioural Sciences, Psychiatry or Public Health.

 One of the representatives on the commission must be a member of the Module Committee, and as a main rule he/she will chair the Examination Commission.

 The chair of the Examination Commission is responsible for collecting the answer papers for the written part of the examination from the disciplines that are not represented on the commission. The Examination Commission is appointed for a period of three years at a time.

Reporting/lines

 The module director reports to the dean of studies

 The chair of the Examination Commission reports to the module director
