Aeronautical Search- and Rescue

 When alerted by ATC, the JRCC will take over the coordination.

Maritime Search- and Rescue

 Incidents at sea coordinated directly from the JRCC.

In-land Search- and rescue.

 Most incidents are coordinated through the RSC, under supervision of the JRCC.

JRCC has the overall responsibility for the

coordination of Search and Rescue.
