Scien3fic  goals  

ViRVIG  is  a  joint  Research  Center  involving  both     UdG  (Girona)  and  UPC  (Barcelona).    

Its  main  objec3ve  is  to  generate  knowledge  and  produce     scien3fic  research  results  in  Virtual  Reality,  Visualisa3on  and  

Advanced  Interac3ve  Graphics  Systems.  

 

 ViRVIG  is  also  aiming  to  respond  to  the  needs  of  the  industrial   and  public  sectors  resul3ng  in  advanced,  problem-­‐oriented  

solu3ons.

Facili3es  

ViRVIG  Labs  are  located  in  the  UdG  Scien3fic  Parc  and  in  the   UPC  Barcelona  Campus.    

 

Present  facili3es  include  several  VR  Systems:    

•   One  Four-­‐wall  Cave  

•   One  PowerWall    

•   Several  portable  VR  Systems.  

 

ViRVIG  VR  Systems  have  been  designed  and  assembled  in   ViRVIG  Labs.    

ViRVIG  facili3es  also  include  hap3c  robots  and  laser  scanners
