U. S. government agencies, much like Meir Kahane's friend Joe Churba
The threesome are close collaborators of Meshulam Riklis and Kenneth Bialkin's ADL. Rees and Moss reportedly are regularly involved in meet
ings with ADL intelligence director Irwin Suall, who has been central to targeting of LaRouche and other opponents of Mossad and KGB influence in U.S. policy-making. It is suspected that among the indviduals whom Pollard worked with in preparing the ADL-authored NBC slander
of LaRouche were Rees and Moss.
EIR's investigation of the De Borchgrave crowd's ties to Moscow, was rekindled through an article published by Yossef Bodansky in the pages of the Washington Times on July 23. The article, which appeared shortly after EIR's famous study, Global Showdown: the Russian Imperial War Plan for 1988, parodied EIR's analysis of the threat posed by Marshal Ogarkov's
plan, for the purpose of presenting KGB-inspired disinformation. Spe
cifically, Bodansky stated that Soviet policy, and Ogarkov's personally, is a conventional, non-nuclear strike against Western Europe. Any West ern forces' Order of Battle predicated on Bodansky's false assessment
would guarantee NATO's defeat.
Still later, on Nov. 20, 1985, Bodansky emerged as a writer for Jane's Defense Weekly, which was caught this year soliciting classified documents from Morrison, who has been charged for espionage as a result.
Interestingly enough, soon after Davar and EIR's exposé of Bodansky's
role in the Pollard case, Jane's and the Washington Times published a piece by Bodansky which, accurately enough, labeled the British peace movement as riddled with KGB operatives. The article caused an im mediate controversy, with the Soviet Union promptly attacking Bod
ansky a transparent effort to restore his credibility.
Clearly a great deal could be blown by a rigorous probe of the Pollard
affair, and the pursuit of the Bodansky lead would expose the deepening
alliance between Armand Hammer's Ariel Sharon and Moscow. It would expose, in short, that America's "greatest ally," Israel, is functioning as
a Soviet asset against the United States.
Mossad hit teams
The time is late 1979. A three-man team from the Jewish Defense
League, some under 20 years of age, pass the security guard post in the lobby of a luxury Bronx apartment building. They blend in easily, since
a yeshiva, a Jewish religious school, uses one of the floors of the building for its students and classrooms. The JDL team has been given the address and apartment number for Lyndon H. LaRouche, Jr., who had recentlyannounced his candidacy for the presidential nomination of the Dem
ocratic Party in 1980. The JDL members are armed, and they have
obtained silencers for their .45 caliber weapons.
They approach the apartment door, and are fully prepared to carry out an assassination attempt similar to an assault on an elderly man in Queens, New York, shot by unknown gunmen who appeared at his front door after a series of newspaper articles identified him as a suspected Nazi war criminal and reported his address.
This time, the JDL team is wrong. The apartment where they expected to find LaRouche is empty, and has been for some weeks. LaRouche is
out of town, they later learned.
"We were told LaRouche is a Nazi, a Jew-hater," reported Mordecai Levy, a member of the Jewish Defense League since approximately the
age of 12 years. "We read the articles [by Dennis King in New York's Our Town throw-away newspaper] that LaRouche was a Nazi and tookaction. It's Jewish justice. That's how the JDL operates."
For nearly five years, Mordecai Levy, now the self-proclaimed leader of the Jewish Defense Organization, was an informant for EIR counter
intelligence. Levy can be described as, to put it mildly, a nutcase. Or as they tell him in Yiddish-meshuggeneh.
Much later in the relationship, Levy explained to EIR how Jewish Defense League and related spin off organizations (the Jewish Committee of Concern, Save Our Israeli Soil, Jewish Direct Action, Wrath of God, and numerous other cell names) organize their violent actions, including
assassinations.
"There's three levels," reports Levy. "There's cadre. . . . They will do an action and take credit by name. . . . They're known, they're up front,
like whoever the chairman of the JDL is.. The JDL chairman leaves for Israel after serving for about one year, you know. . . . [it] prevents them [JDL chairman) from becoming too powerful, or thinking they're

too powerful.. Some people only take credit under very specific cir cumstances.... I can't say why... I can't say. ... The real serious stuff nobody takes credit for... those guys leave for Israel.... The Mossad protects them, gets them out of the country." Levy explains that
he gives press conferences after a bombing or assassination attempt to
"applaud the action" while denying any involvement. This, Levy says, is a "diversion, pre-arranged. . . . It helps with the escape."
Levy and other Jewish militants are given "hit lists," he says. "You know, political hit lists. . . . They [the targets] get threats all the time."
The lists, Levy says, come from "high up people... Israelis." From the list of targets who are getting threats, the JDL controllers pick an actual target, and a professional team moves in. Sometimes the assassin is a former JDL member who has completed his "aliyah" (return to Israel, the homeland) and served in the Israeli Defense Force, gaining expertise in demolitions. For other jobs, professional Mossad assassins are brought into the United States, complete the job and leave on the next plane.
The number of passports and identities are almost infinite. Most Mossad operatives, including the American Jews recruited into JDL hit teams, have at least two identities they regularly use: a passport of the nationality of birth-American, Danish, Belgian, etc., and an Israeli passport issued
in the Hebrew name taken by the individual when they emigrate to
Israel.
Mordecai Levy, since he was 13-years-old, a member of the cult of Jewish
"activism" founded by Rabbi Meir Kahane, is the source of much of the information in this section on the workings of Israeli/organized crime hit teams in the United States. In a recent public interview, Levy claimed that he had "infiltrated" the campaign organization of Lyndon LaRouche for about three years. That is not true.
In October 1980, Levy made his first offer to give information to LaRouche. The contact was made through Paul Goldstein, chief of EIR Counterintelligence, who, unbeknownst to Levy, also happened to be a Jewish scholar. For years, Levy had been a "telephone terrorist," making repeated such threats to LaRouche. The initial contact came in the midst of telephone death threats to Goldstein by Levy, then a leading member of an ad-hoc "anti-Nazi coalition" comprised of the JDL, the Yippies,
Dennis King, a so-called freelance writer sponsored by the ADL, and a gaggle of New York leftists. Goldstein was one of the "LaRouche Nazis"
on his target list. When Goldstein spoke to Levy in Hebrew, and recited Jewish prayers, Levy "freaked out." He had been told that all Jewish
associates of LaRouche-and there are many-had been forced to re
nounce Judaism.
For several years, Levy gave information to associates of Lyndon LaRouche. During that entire time, Levy was an informant for the FBI and the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith.
But Levy's main controller was and is Milton Ellerin, head of the Trends Analysis Division of the American Jewish Committee. Ellerin is a former FBI veteran of Division Five, where one of his colleagues was
Louis Mortimer Bloomfield, the personal attorney for the Bronfman fam ily, and until his death in 1984, one of the top henchmen of the European based black oligarchy (Venice) that uses Israel as a special operations bureau. Through Division Five, and the Knights of Malta, Bloomfield had been a major player in setting up the assassination of John F. Kennedy.
For years, he had served the Bronfman organized-crime family, which
rose from bootlegging during Prohibition to become one of the "respect able" Jewish philanthropists.
Levy is a fanatic, with a history of psychiatric problems. He was picked up at the age of about 13 years, educated, nurtured, and shaped by a network of orthodox Rabbis connected to the National Council of Young
Israel.
Levy truly believes in the racist neo-Nazi ideology of his mentor, Meir Kahane, that Jews are a "race apart." And for that very reason, contact with Jewish associates of LaRouche caused Levy a serious psychological conflict. The slanders that LaRouche was a Nazi fed to him through Dennis King, Irwin Saull and Ellerin did not jive with his experience.
Something did not compute.
Typcial were Levy's reactions to LaRouche's writings on statecraft, on the economic salvation of Israel, and teaching of classical culture-music and art, such as the works of the German Jewish poet, Heinrich Heine, or Rembrandt. Levy would attempt to integrate these ideas into his
"Jewish militant" indoctrination, with little success. Nonetheless, the ability of EIR counterintelligence personnel to detect and utilize Levy's psychological conflicts produced a higher result of accuracy of information
from Levy than any other law enforcement or intelligence apparatus
even the Israeli Mossad-could have achieved without the use of mind altering drugs or torture.
For almost five years, Levy gave information to LaRouche associates,
to the dismay of his controllers, who continuously questioned whether Levy had been "turned" by LaRouche. In a sense, Levy had been "turned,"
and had to be put through a severe trauma by the ADL to turn him against LaRouche again. Once that happened, he became extremely dangerous. Mordecai Levy can be a killer. He is a fanatic and a psy
chotic manipulated by the JDL networks that recruited him.
Psychological control The Jewish Defense League and its various offshoots like Levy's Jewish Defense Organization, Jewish Armed Resistance, etc. are a cult. The
Jewish Defense League was consciously intended to build an apparatus

in the United States that would recruit young Americans into the Temple Mount cult in Israel. The cult is designed around the fascist ideology of
Vladimir Jabotinsky, one of the founders of Zionism. The model for the
organization is the Irgun.
There are no defectors from the Jewish Defense League. Operatives of the JDL are universally deployed into street fights, into karate training, into small arms and rifle training at rural camps and retreats or at rifle
ranges. They are also universally deployed to deface Jewish schools,
synagogues, and cemeteries. If they wish to defect, they can be made martyrs to the Jewish cause, a threat that is constantly held over their
heads.
Irwin Suall, Arnold Forster, Meir Kahane, and Ariel Sharon, some of the controllers of the JDL, guide deployments to accomplish two things:
to harden the recruits into the Zionist racist ideology that is espoused by JDL founder, Rabbi Meir Kahane, and second, to involve the recruits in some illegal activity that will forge their bonds to the cult.
The JDL "militants" believe they are the "avengers," using names of war with Biblical reference like "Wrath of God," or the "Tribe of Judah."
They are whipped into a psychotic frenzy, not unlike the training given to Islamic suicide terrorists. In Israel, there are yeshivas connected to Kahane's Kach Party, or to the Gush Emunin (Block of the Faithful), where animal sacrifices are practiced in the name of ancient Jewish law.
The use of animal sacrifice, and other neo-pagan rituals, are a significant psychological factor in preparing members of the Jewish Defense League, the Kach Party (or Movement), and the Gush Emunin for acts of ter
rorism.
Many of the American JDL recruits eventually end up spending time in such brainwashing institutions. Several of them, like Allen Henry Goodman and Craig Leitner, have been arrested in Israel for terrorist actions against Arabs, and for assaults on Islamic holy places such as the Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem. Being American citizens, granted dual citizenship in Israel, they easily pass from the United States to Israel and
back without the trouble of visas. Their escapes are sometimes organized

directly by the Israeli government in military chartered planes, such as
those organized by General Davidi.
Mordecai Levy and other JDLers of his generation are the "third gen eration" of the Irgun. They were created by the "second generation,"
who did not fight in World War II or in Israel's War of Independence.
Howard Adelson of the National Council of Young Israel, Joseph Churba,
Meir Kahane, Moshe Arens, Ariel Sharon, were recruited by the "old men" of the Irgun-the terrorists who struck deals with the Nazi secret
services, the British secret services, and the Soviet secret services, to survive. They were the Jabotinskyites, by no means anti-fascist. In the 1920s and 30s, Jabotinsky's followers were avid admirers of Benito Mus solini, and to them, Adolph Hitler's only problem was his anti-Semitism.
Churba, Kahane, Adelson, and others, who had been recruited by Ja botinskyites, in turn, recruited Levy and several hundred other JDLers
in the United States. Under certain circumstances, every one of these
recruits could be a terrorist.
In the late 1940s, Churba, Arens, and Kahane were all, according to reliable reports, compatriots in a New York chapter of the Betar.
In the earlier 1960s, Churba hired Kahane, who then went under the name of Michael King (which Kahane claims was an alias he used for purposes of penetrating the John Birch Society and other right-wing groups for the FBI), at his Center for Political Studies in Washington,
D.C. Churba was at this time an ordained Rabbi and a professor at the U.S. Air University, Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama. The firm got
research contracts for the government.
In 1966, Churba and Kahane/King founded a group called the July Fourth Movement, allegedly to quell opposition to the U.S. involvement in Vietnam. Churba and Kahane/King authored a book entitled, The
Jewish Stake in Vietnam.
In 1968, Kahane, working with Churba, founded the Jewish Defense League, though Churba never formally became a member. The original founders of the group with "Rabbi Kahane" (ordained in 1953 at Mirrer Yeshiva in Brooklyn, N.Y.) were Irving Calderon, Murray Schneider, Chaim Bieber, Marty Dolinsky, and Herbert Zweibon, who is currently
head of the official Gush Emunin friendship group in the U.S., the Americans for a Safe Israel. When Kahane performed his "aliyah" to Israel in 1971 (under the gun of an indictment and prison sentence),
Zweibon became head of the JDL. In Israel, Kahane founded the World
Jewish Defense League.The JDL was a creature of the 1968 New York teacher's strike, where
the Ford Foundation's ethnic division pitted "black nationalist" racists against Jewish teachers to create a permanently divided "community structure" in the city. The rally-cry of black nationalists such as James Forman, Leslie Campbell, and the Ford Foundation's Kenneth Clark became opposition to the "Jewish racism" of the New York teachers.Rabbi Meir Kahane organized the Jewish countergang to that Ford Foun dation-designed race hatred; his first project was to form vigilante sqauds to "protect" the Jewish community from attacks from blacks. A para
miliatry training camp was set up in Woodburne, N.Y. to program Jewish
youth.
One thing is certain, the Churba/Michael King operation was shaped by the same Ford Foundation/Tavistock operation that turned Newark
poet Leroi Jones, a.k.a. Imamu Baraka, into a raving racist prone to
violence, and which funded the creation of the Weatherunderground out of the Ford Foundation wing of the Students for a Democratic Society
at Columbia University.In 1971, as part of Kahane's "Jewish identity" project, a follower of

Herbert Marcuse (the mentor of Angela Davis of the Communist Party
USA) named Janet L. Dolgin, spent 18 months working in the JDL, first
in New York at the "Jewish Identity Center" and later at the JDL world headquarters established by Kahane in Jerusalem. Dolgin was a student
of Marcuse, and French existentalists Louis Dumont and Jean-Paul Sarte.
Her deployment was funded by grants from the Center for Urban Eth
nography and the National Endowment for the Humanities. Following Marcuse's recipe for creating syncretic belief structures, Dolgin applied Marcuse's "dialectic of absorption" using early Jewish "myths" to create a modern ideology. The story of the Maccabees and the suicide cult of Masada were drawn upon to create the modern Biblical warriors. (The black nationalist garbage pushed by Imamu Baraka in Newark is an exact parallel. His followers were forced to learn "pidgeon Swahili," and were
given the title "simba"-Swahili for "lion") in their paramilitary training.
Kahane also adopted the slogans and ideas of Vladimir Jabotinsky, changing Jabotinsky's "Jewish Youth Must Learn to Shoot," to the JDL slogan "Every Jew a .22. . ." Kahane took to heart the ideas "Hadar,"
the formula that every Jew is a “natural prince," and Aharot Yisroel, which is the devotion to creating a Zionist state by military means.
The Jewish Identity Center/paramilitary training program ran recruit
ment operations through the mid-1970s. In spring 1976, an undercover investigator applied for a new identity with the "Jewish Identity Center,"
and was interviewed by Mrs. Lidz, then Executive Director of the JIC at 1133 Broadway. Lidz cited Randy Gitlin, a JDL terrorist, as one shining example of the JIC program-a ten-week course. Recruits, she explained, were selected on the basis of extreme Zionism, and were shaped into
"anti-Soviet" action. The key links to the group were Rabbi Kook, Chief
Orthodox Rabbi of Israel, and patron of Temple Mount's Ateret Cohanim
yeshiva and Gush Emunin. After their stint with the JIC, the youth would be deployed into Jewish militant groups on college campuses. It is required that each recruit proseletyze others and bring in new recruits.

inadequate, and Kahane insisted that his followers return to Israel for
"active combat." After service in the reserve of the Israeli Defense Force, Kahane's followers are sent to combat zones like Hebron, where they put
into practice his Nazi apartheid theories, trashing Arab homes, shooting rifles into school buses, and bombing automobiles, with the help of Mossad
professionals.
Before the JDL "went professional" in Israel, at the time that Rafi Eytan set up his "Terror Against Terror" network after the 1972 Munich mas sacre, JDL practice sessions were on the East Coast of the United States, targeting Soviet diplomatic buildings and residences.
During the winter of 1970-71, Kahane and seven other members of the JDL were indicted by a New York County grand jury for assault,
rioting, criminal mischief, and burglary. Their spring 1971 trial, however,
showed every indication of protection from the Anti-Defamation League,
and later, Manhattan District Attorney Robert Morgenthau.On May 13, 1971, the New York Police Department, the FBI, and the Treasury Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms arrested Kahane and two JDL co-conspirators, C. Bieber and S. Cohen, for conspiring
to transport weapons and explosive across Virginia state lines, allegedly
to blow up Soviet buildings.
The attorney for Kahane was Barry Slotnick, reportedly "donated" to him by Slotnick's more famous client, mafia boss Joseph Colombo, who was assassinated within a year of founding the Italian League Against
Defamation.
The case against Kahane, Bieber, and Cohen was nearly blown by the FBI when wiretap information was revealed, and Slotnick turned the
trial into an attack on the U.S. government. But the prosecution narrowly prevailed since both the NYPD and the BATF had infiltrated the group and had not relied on FBI wiretap information.
On July 10, 1971, Kahane, Bieber, and Cohen filed a plea of guilty to conspiracy to manufacture bombs and explosives. The U.S. Attorney's deal was to drop all charges against the remaining JDL members, and charges of illegal weapons would be dropped against Kahane if he turned in his guns. The government demanded, and got, an inspection of the Woodburne, N.Y. training center, but it was too late-the reported
cache of arms and explosives was gone. The July 12, 1971 "find" of 190 sticks of dynamite abandoned along the Palisades Parkway (on a tip from a JDL informant) was not successfully linked to Kahane's case.
None of the conspirators, including Kahane, went to prison—they were all given suspended sentences. But Kahane was about to go into a
new phase of operations-killing Arabs in Israel, where he went to sit out his probation. The JDL meanwhile came under the caretaker control
of Herbert Zweibon, who staged violent demonstrations and called pe
riodic press conferences displaying recently acquired weaponry.
